The first step...
Okay bear with me. Today I am taking my first steps in creating a blog and just a few days ago I created my first wiki. This really is a girl going digital. There is a purpose behind all of this. The blog and the wiki are parts of assingments for Distance Education courses. It is important that as one who wants to teach I must be willing to learn. In so I get to experience the world of web 2.0 and all of the interesting avenues it possesses to provide educational experiences. In truth, I have not followed any other blogs before and had not considered ehat they could bring to education. I hope that you are willing to learn with me!

Rebecca: I like your blog! Isn't this fun? Do you have a webcam? Try a video blog! I just did my first ever the other day and it was quite interesting talking to myself. I am going to try to do all of my reflections via video to complete the reflections journal. It will give me good practice. You should too! I see that you live in Virginia. We (my family and I) are 85 percent thinking of moving there in April (Chesterfield area maybe).
